 What Do You Enjoy?

“Good things happen when you finally let the negative things go”

We need to make room for the Positive by getting rid of the negative.

Sometimes, it is good to ‘let it all out’, and it’s like getting rid of the poison in the mind.

Giving ourselves that all Important “Self-Care” time will allow our minds to Heal.

And like we take vitamins to build our physical bodies up, once all the negative is out of our minds, we can build our Mental Health up with Positive thoughts.

When we do this, we are more in a ‘position’ Mentally to accept the Good and Positive changes that will happen in our lives.

The ‘trick’ is that, once we are there Mentally, not to allow our minds to wander back into the negative.

The question is: do you Enjoy being Happy or miserable?

One Step At A Time

 One Step At A Time

“Focus on the step in front of you and not the whole staircase”

Sometimes, a project looks impossible.

We look ahead, wanting something so much, and think: “How on Earth am I going to do that?”

When we first started to walk as a baby, we started with one step in front of the other, slowly, until we feel more stable and quicken our pace, until we are running in the garden, with mum and dad watching on and ever so Proud.

We don’t really change that much as adults.

When we start a new job, there seems to be too much to learn, but after a while, we wonder what we were worried about.

This quote can also apply to us physically.

For a person who is disabled in their legs, a staircase can seem like a real ‘no, no’.

However, we can start on those stairs, literally one step at a time, until, before we know it, we’re at the top of the stairs.

Whether mental or physical, when we achieve a big ‘thing’ in our lives, we should be Proud of ourselves.

It Is Vital!

 It Is Vital!

“Your mind is a powerful thing. The more you fill it with Positive thoughts, the more your life will change”

Our brain has been likened to a muscle, and like every muscle in our body, the more we use it — the Stronger our brains will become.

A footballer trains for several hours every day, and the muscles in his or her legs become extremely Strong and Stable, to see him or her through the football match.

What we ‘put’ into our minds is no different.

We can Meditate on Positive thoughts, writing them down and repeating them, almost like rote, so that our Minds become Strong towards Life Itself.

Or — we can dwell on negative things and ‘allow’ our minds to become weak, losing our grip on life.

Which do YOU want?

It is vital that we make time, every single day, to look after our Minds, to “Care” for our Mental Health.

Remember And Appreciate

 Remember And Appreciate

“Having a place to go — is a home. Having someone to love — is a family. Having both — is a blessing”

When we think of those who are living in a war torn country — this is so true!

For those of us who live in relative Peace — do we Appreciate this?

It is a Good Reminder!

When we think of the homeless, we learn to Appreciate what we have. 

Instead of sitting outside on a cold pavement all alone, hungry, most of us can go home, sit in the warm, and eat a nice meal with the people we love.

It is indeed a Blessing to have both a home and a family, to live with people we love and who love us.

And each and every day we need to Remember these Blessings and Appreciate them.

 It Will Be Worth Getting Through

“I’m ever so glad I saw it through and am much Happier today”.

I believe every one of us has said this at some time in our lives.

We look back on a difficult time and, seeing how far we have come, we feel Proud of ourselves.

The problem is that when we are going through a difficult time to actually Remember that we will ‘get through it’ and be much Stronger for it.

We will (and should) be Proud of ourselves.

Never Give Up! 

Because we never know what or who is just around the corner, ready to support us and give us Hope.

The thing to Remember is that we need to have Hope whilst going through or living in a difficult situation.

It will be worth getting through.

Staying Calm in any situation is Good for our Mental health, as well as for our Physical health.

And remaining Calm in a group of people helps others to remain Calm also.

How?

Because the human race copies each other and we are members of the human race and we ‘like’ to copy one another, especially someone who is Calm and in Control.

And staying Calm means that we have or are in Control — of ourselves and the situation we might find ourselves in.

As the quote says: “Peace equals Power”.

A person who is in Control and has Peace within themselves can have a Powerful Influence on others.

Peace is something that we all Desire — both in our own lives and also for the world we live in.

As Peace builds up, “It” is definitely more Powerful.

Negativity destroys, and once destroyed, there is nothing left — you cannot live this way!

The word “Positive” means: Constructive, Optimistic, Confident.

When we Construct a building, it stays a building for many years.

When we are Optimistic, we are looking forward to the Future.
