A Kind Word Can Complement

 A Kind Word Can Complement

“If speaking kindly to plants can help them grow, imagine what speaking kindly to humans can do.”

What we say has a profound influence on the person we’re speaking to.

Words we speak will affect the other person’s mind, either in a positive or in a negative way, and this will either help them to progress in life or it will stop them short.

Surely, we only ever want him or her to do well in their lives, progressing and moving forwards in a positive way.

When a kind word encourages a plant to grow, how much more will a kind word inspire a fellow human to have a strong hold on life.

This encourages us to ‘think before we speak.’

A kind word can complement and even enhance another person’s health, mentally, physically and emotionally.

Encourage And Learn

Encourage And Learn

“Note to self: you are not too old and it’s not too late.”

As long as we are alive, we have the opportunity and the potential to do wonderful things, no matter how old or young we are.

After getting married and bringing up a family, an older couple may want to ‘live their dream’ of travelling, opening a shop or simply learning new things, like languages.

GO FOR IT!

Half of the time it is having the confidence to, so “believe in yourself” because you can and will do it!

An older person is a wise person with experience and, very often, a new sense of purpose.

Also, when our grandparents, and even our parents, went to school as children, there weren't the subjects to learn from that we have today, it was very often just the basics.

Let’s encourage our loved ones and learn from them.

We Need An Education

We Need An Education

“Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.”

We need education in order to progress.

Education enables us to read and write, giving us the ability to communicate and to learn about this planet Earth we live on.

Every generation who has, at least, basic schooling are equipped to improve their lives for the next generation.

This is how advancements are made in the medical profession, in technology and even in education itself.

An education will also help towards getting decent employment.

The beauty of living in today’s world is that we can ‘go to school’ at any age, no matter how ‘old’ we are.

An education teaches us and helps us to prepare for the future, and even helps us to ‘live our dreams.’

Education gives us the tools we need to live in today’s world.

Believe That You Deserve Them

 Believe That You Deserve Them

“Be strong enough to let go and patient enough to wait for what we deserve.”

We live with ‘change.’

The seasons change.

The Earth itself is going through climate change.

In our everyday lives, we face situations where we need to change our plans.

Some things we need to let go of in order to change, whether we want to or not.

It is important for us to let go of some things in our lives to make room for new and better ‘experiences’.

We need to be patient and ‘wait’ for the better things because, whether we believe it or not, we “deserve” them!

Letting go of old and familiar things can be frightening and difficult, but when we remember how much this helps our mental health, we just go ahead and do it.

We want those new opportunities.

We deserve them.

Let's Enjoy Our Lives

 Let’s Enjoy Our Lives

“You cannot improve your past, but you can improve your future. Once time is wasted, life is wasted.”

This is a very profound and real thought.

We cannot change our past but we can learn from it and use this to improve our future.

Time is constantly moving and, although we can plan our time, we cannot stop or ‘control’ time.

Thus comes the well-known saying to “use your time wisely.”

This encourages us to constantly work on our personal development and on the quality of our lives.

We have the “freedom” to create our own futures and it is our responsibility to do this.

We’ve got to try to remember that whatever we do today will affect us tomorrow not just physically but mentally and emotionally too.

Let’s enjoy our lives.

Say After Me

Say After Me

“You are unique, nothing can replace you.”

We live in an age of technology and standardization which could overshadow our individuality.

But to make the technological world brilliant, we need to be unique in our everyday lives.

We, as humans, have the ability to think in a rational way and we are determined, which makes us stand out among all of the creatures on this Earth, as well as technology.

Robots may be useful but not one of them can replace you and me.

Our personal experiences, talents and skills, and our abilities to use all of these for humanities benefit, makes us unparalleled and exclusive to this Earth.

Say after me:

“I am valuable, unique and special!”

We Can Have It All

We Can Have It All

“Live beautifully, dream passionately, love completely.”

Because you are beautiful!

We live on a stunningly exquisite planet which is full of colour, sounds, radiant shapes and amazing creatures.

We “belong” to this Earth so we ‘should’ live beautifully too.

You and I deserve our dreams so yes dream passionately.

When the world learns to love completely we will have no more wars, until then, we can still do our little bit of loving within our communities.

When we laugh with our loved ones and friends over a well cooked meal in a beautiful garden, we are all living well and happy lives.

What more can we ask for!

Living our dreams, and not just in our minds, gives us that passion to feel that “Life Is Good!”

This shows us what it means to be human.

You Can Still Have It

You Can Still Have It

“Living without an aim is like sailing without a compass.”

Our journey in life is unique to us alone.

The question we ask ourselves:

“What do I want my life to be?”

Without that goal, purpose or aim in our lives, we will never have control of our lives.

It is a part of human nature to want to know where we are going in life.

As our lives are our own responsibility, surely we can aim for and have what ‘we’ individually want.

Some may want to settle down and have a family.

Others may want a career of some kind.

Still others may want to be a doctor or a dancer.

Think about it.

What have ‘you’ always wanted in your life?

Because the beauty of living in today’s world is that, no matter your age, you can still have your dream.

See How Well You Have Done

See How Well You Have Done

“If you are doing your best, you will not have to worry about failure.”

When you follow this quote, you are showing that you believe in yourself.

You believe that all the effort you put into your life is sincere and promotes a real sense of accomplishment.

There is no room for fear here.

You do not need to fear failure when you do your best.

This is a very positive and optimistic way of looking at life.

Focusing on our personal growth, rather than our failures, will lead us towards greater creativity.

We will see what we have accomplished rather than what we think we have failed at.

It is important to stay persistent and to keep active.

Focus on the ‘process’ instead of just the outcome, and you will see how well you have done and how far you have come.

Success Requires Action

Success Requires Action

“Victory won’t come to me unless I go to it.”

This quote emphasizes the need to be active in pursuing our dreams.

To take each stepping-stone in order to go forwards in our lives and to be successful.

We need to take the initiative and even step out of our comfort zone to achieve our goals in life.

Balance is needed here!

While we want to exert ourselves, we must be aware of our health, both mentally and physically.

Success requires action, resilience and commitment in a sensible way.

As we continue to strive to achieve our dreams, we are also having a positive effect on our community.

By promoting a culture that values action whilst acknowledging our health mentally, we are showing others what they are capable of doing in their lives.

Gain That New Skill

 Gain That New Skill

“Keep trying no matter how hard it seems. It will get easier.”

Life can seem like a nightmare sometimes with its many challenges, but it is up to us to change those challenges into opportunities.

A positive mindset will do this.

Very often, when life seems incredibly hard, we end up learning a whole new set of skills to overcome that particular problem.

Overcoming challenges gives us a high level of satisfaction in our lives, strengthening our mental health.

Getting through tough times also very often teaches us new skills, and we discover a strength we never knew we had.

When a new challenge faces us, we become more confident that we will overcome it, coming through it stronger.

Continue to be persistent and you will become strong and more positive in your mind.

The Simple Pleasures Of Life

 The Simple Pleasures Of Life

“Enrich your life today, because yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery.”

“Today” is in our hands.

Yesterday has gone.

Tomorrow is yet to come.

But we can see and have control of “today”.

We enjoy life so much more when we ‘live in the moment’.

“By enriching our lives today, we empower ourselves to shape a more fulfilling existence.”

Cultivating awareness about now, today, allows us to enjoy and appreciate the simple pleasures of life, which enhances our hold on our lives.

Focusing on the present gives strength to positive change.

Plus, all of this gives us some lovely memories to look back on.

Concentrating on “today” encourages us to invest time and energy into our relationships, making sure that we are ‘in the moment’ with our loved ones.

You Can Keep Pace

 You Can Keep Pace

“Focus less on what you can’t do, and more on what you can do.”

When we focus on what we can do, we are thinking about and doing a very positive ‘activity’.

When you wake up first thing in the morning, start to think about what you can do and start to plan the day.

By thinking this way, we start to open up opportunities and then we start to acquire new skills.

We live in a world which is constantly changing, so when we think about our strengths and abilities, we can usually keep pace.

‘Promoting’ this perspective of thinking about and accepting what we can do enhances our mental  well-being, reducing worry and anxiety.

This encourages us to think about our potential, giving us hope for the future.

Cultivating this kind of mind-set helps us to enrich our lives.

You Will Soon Feel Loved

You Will Soon Feel Loved

“The more positivity we give, the more positivity we receive.”

This gives hope and motivation.

It is woven into human culture and is a spiritual truth.

The more love and optimistic hope we give out and show, the more respect, kindness and positivity we will receive.

It has always been recognized the importance of good ‘actions’ and how these build a caring and thriving community.

Virtue leads to happiness which suggests that goodness ‘creates’ a happy and kind neighbourhood.

We get a good feeling when we help others and this is like an echo because then others want to help us, and they too get that same good feeling from helping us.

This encourages confidence and good-will in the community.

If you feel lonely, go and help someone and the loneliness will soon go, and you will feel and be loved.

Self-Esteem And Trust

 Self-Esteem And Trust

“Love yourself first, because that’s who you’ll be spending the rest of your life with.”

Self-love is a pillar for personal well-being.

This quote is an important reminder to nurture a positive and healthy relationship with ourselves.

Accepting ourselves for who we are is a step towards loving ourselves, and this is vital because the only person who will be with us for the rest of our lives is ourselves.

Loving ourselves is not selfish but sensible.

It is a foundational ‘belief’ that we deserve happiness and this ‘belief’ will help us to stay mentally and physically healthy.

A person who prioritizes his or her self-esteem and well-being starts to trust themselves and others, and this strengthens their relationships with loved ones, friends and the community around them.

Don’t you deserve this kind of life?
