Know That You have
“Be gentle with yourself. You are doing the best you can.”
We do live in a society which constantly wants more, demanding more productivity and better improvement.
We need to set a balance within our own minds and lives.
Every one of us “is” doing our best so we should be gentle with ourselves.
Self-Kindness shows us that we should be kind and understanding towards ourselves.
We should remember that perfection is only a thought in someone else’s mind, and that we are ‘perfect’ as we are.
Positive mindfulness makes us aware of our own thoughts and feelings, respecting and accepting that ‘this is who we are.’
Self-Compassion is important for our mental health, to “know” that we have done our best and stop pushing ourselves.
