#   Like the Maine Coon, Ragdoll Cats are a large breed. Males weight up to 20 pounds while females can weigh up to 15 pounds.

The Russian Blue Cat is a breed that comes in colours varying from a light shimmering silver to a darker, slate grey.

#   These cats are thoughtful and intelligent, and very affectionate (once they get to know you). This cat is a playful and loving companion, elegant and reserved.

#   Like the Siamese breed, the Russian Blue is very vocal.

#   The male is 10-12 pounds / the female is 7-10 pounds. The eyes are yellow with green rims as a kitten and they become bright green as an adult.

#   The Russian Blue Cat lives 15-20 years.

#   This cat is known for its natural "smile."

#   The Russian Blue Cat requires physical and mental stimulation.

The Sphynx Cat

The Sphynx Cat is a breed known for its lack of coat.

#   These are amongst the most loving and friendly of cats. They are gentle, easy going and good with kids, dogs and other cats. This cat doesn't like being left alone, it needs companionship, and are almost 'desperate' for attention.

#   Pigmentation is clearly visible on the skin and all skin patterns and colours are acceptable.

#   These cats are outgoing and mischievous. They love people and attention.

#   Sphynxes are champion purrers and very talkative.

#   Owners of a Sphynx cat must pay meticulous attention to keeping this cat's skin clean and supple. The skin needs to be bathed or sponged every week to remove its oily secretions.

#   The Maine Coon Cat has a variety of 30 or more colours. The eyes may be green, gold or copper.

#   Maine Coon Cats are noted for the delightful quiet 'chirping' sound they make.

#   These cats are very intelligent and can be taught to walk with leads.

The Siamese Cat is one of the firstly distinctly recognized breeds of Asian cats.

#   These cats have a special modifier gene that inhibits pigment from developing in the fur, resulting in 'albinism.'

#   The Siamese Cat is known for its friendly, sociable and affectionate nature. These cats are loving and trusting, and will often bond especially strongly with one person. They are playful and intelligent, needing lots of interaction to keep them entertained.

#   These cats love to be cuddled, help and fussed over constantly.

The Bengal Cat is a domesticated cat breed created from hybrids of domestic cats, especially the spotted Egyptian Mau, with the Asian Leopard cat.
