When we do this, we will have control of our lives, as well as of our minds, emotions and bodies.

This “practice” will reshape ‘us’.

It will reform our interactions with others, improving our relationships.

It will add to our overall well-being in life.

Ancient philosophers emphasized the importance of ‘mastering’ and keeping control of our own minds and especially thoughts.

Learning to do this, every single day, will strengthen our minds so that when challenges do come along, we will see them as opportunities and stay calm.

In order for us to have a ‘healthy’ life, both physically and mentally, we must ‘give ourselves something’.

Something we love.

Something we want.

Something that inspires us.

Every morning, think about your hobby, the book you want to read, the music you love to listen to, in fact anything that you love, and keep that in your mind all day.

During the day or in the evening, “do it.”

This may only be 15 minutes every day but it will give you the strength and happiness that you need and deserve.

You’ll soon be smiling again.

Our dreams, desires and goals are exactly the same.

We need to plan them and then really work at making them come true.

When we do this, we are owning our lives.

We can also “shape” our worlds by doing this, and even the communities we live in.

We may live in a complex society, but we can keep our lives simple.

An 18 year old has the health and the energy, whereas an 80 year old has the experience and patience.
