To show a high regard for, value and consideration for someone.
We can see why it is ‘one of the greatest expressions of love.’
It is often called the ‘secret’ to any relationship — to respect each other.
When respect is shown within the community, it reinforces unity and the positive peace that is needed for a strong neighbourhood.
Simply by listening to someone, showing value for their opinions or just giving him or her space shows that you have deep respect for that person.
