Give Medicine A Helping Hand

We live in a world where medicine answers all of the health issues.

A pill to fix that headache, we all know ‘the drill’.

However, attitudes are slowly changing.

The emphasis is becoming more on helping ourselves then relying on manmade medicine.

Don’t get me wrong, medicine saves lives and the doctors and nurses are ‘miracle-workers’.

But we can “help ourselves” too.

A positive spirit keeps the mind more peaceful, and the more tranquil our minds are, the calmer our bodies are.

Giving ourselves time to rest and ‘heal’, and filling our days with love and laughter, will give us that peace of mind which will keep our bodies ‘peaceful’.

There is nothing wrong with giving medicine a ‘helping hand’ too.

Our everyday health will improve if we prioritize our self-care, every single day.

 Healthier And Happier

Which “one” will make you happy and healthy?

When we keep our minds full of positive and optimistic thoughts, there is no room for anything else!

We need to make the conscious effort to “think” the right thoughts.

Faith is the complete trust and confidence in someone or something.

Make that someone “YOU”!

Have faith and confidence in yourself and in your own abilities.

Remember what you have personally overcome.

Prove to yourself that ‘there is nothing to worry about’ because you are in control of your own life.

Having faith in yourself will build up your mental health.

Daily meditation will keep the mind full and ‘busy’ with constructive thinking.

Letting go of worrying thoughts will help us to embrace today and to live in the moment.

It takes time and effort but when we make the right choice, we become happier and healthier.

 We Need To Do This Every Day

“Respect your body when it’s asking for a break. Respect your mind when it’s seeking rest. Honour yourself when you need a moment for yourself”

We live in such a fast-paced and busy world, that we forget, or do not even think about, stopping and resting.

We are just as important as those we care for, so we should give ourselves that precious time to basically ‘look after ourselves’.

Our bodies and minds are not machines and need rest.

This is important to remember!

When we give ourselves time to rest, refresh and rejuvenate, we are respecting ourselves, our bodies and our minds.

It is important to put “self-care” at the top of the list because we want to have healthy bodies and healthy minds.

Taking five or ten minutes every day for ourselves is not selfish but necessary.

We want to be healthy and happy.

We ‘deserve’ to be healthy and happy.

When you are tired, listen to your body and mind and stop for that cup of tea, and make sure you have a proper lunch.

We say it to others so we should ‘listen to our own words’.

Respect.

Honour.

Care for yourself — every single day.

When we want to do anything, it takes repetition and patience to get it right.

Every pianist will tell you that it is repeated practice, every single day, which turns the pupil into the master.

The same applies to a ballet dancer, it’s the basic dance moves, practiced every single day, which enables the dancer to learn the more difficult moves.

In fact, this ‘law of practice’ applies to everything we do in Life.

We learn to eat and swallow properly because we eat every day.

We learnt to walk because we ‘toddled’ every day.

Both of these things are very basic but necessary so we learn to do them, and still do them, every single day.

Imagine how well we could do when we practice something that we ‘dream’ of doing, every single day.

Everything we do starts in the mind!

Thinking about our dreams every day will encourage us to ‘practice’ them as much as we can, every single day if possible.

Consistent hard work and dedication will make our lives a success, even in the mundane things.
