We must make sure these are strong, confident and optimistic.

Even the relationships we start to develop today will either aid or hinder us in the future.

And acts of kindness and compassion that we do today will reflect in our futures.

This especially applies to this planet Earth we live on.

 We Feel Much Better

“How amazing is it to find someone who wants to hear about all the things that go on in your head.”

One of the greatest kindnesses that anyone can do is to sit down and listen to another person.

We all live in our ‘own worlds’ and can sometimes feel alone, isolated and think that no one understands us.

When someone sits down with us and patiently listens while we ‘let out’ what is really on our minds, we realise that we are not alone but that we are understood.

We feel much better and happier.

We also become closer to the person who listened to us without judging us.

Sometimes, this is all that is needed for us to feel better and to get on with our lives.

Never forget, though, that there is professional help if we need it.

A Strong And Caring Community

It may be a ‘human thing’ or just the world we grow up in but it is so easy to judge someone by jumping to the wrong conclusion, maybe without even knowing all of the facts.

If and when we do this, we will lose that person as a friend or as a loved one.

However, if we give him or her the benefit of the doubt, and try to understand them with the quality of compassion, that person will know that someone is on their side.

And we all need that!

This will enrich our lives because we will keep our friend or loved one, and this will build up a strong and caring community.

A heart that understands is better than a heart that doesn’t care.

We all deserve to feel loved and valued in our lives.

Giving a loved one a hug.

All of these actions remind everyone of the ‘goodness in humanity’.

When we are going through difficult times, it is not easy to remember that the people around us do care.

But we must make the effort to remember this and ‘triumph over the bad people’ by being a good person.
