 Remember That Lion

"My courage is stronger than my fear"

When I hear the word "Courage", I always think of the lion, the 'king of the jungle'.

A lion 'knows' that very few animals can attack him, and he is very "Self-Assured" of his position in Life.

We can have this very same Courage and Determination.

We can Build our Minds up so that hurtful words just 'bounce' off the walls that we have built up.

And when we Plan and Prepare, we are Building up that Courage too.

'Fear' is a part of our human nature, but we do need to keep it in 'perspective'.

It is there to stop us from hurting ourselves Physically, like burning our hand (for example).

But we mustn't 'let' fear take over or Control us.

Like we have Control over our hand and would never put it in the fire, so we need to have Control Mentally so that fear will never be 'allowed' to stop us.

This can apply to so many aspects of our Lives, from going out to meet a friend for coffee to picking up a book and reading it.

We need to Remember that only "WE" have the right to "Control" our Bodies, which means "Controlling" our Minds.

Have the "Courage" to say: This is my Life and I Control It without fear!

 Go For A Walk

"I am deserving of a life free from anxiety"

Every one of us is Special.

And every one of us Deserves a Life full of Peace and Harmony.

We all know the effect that stress and anxiety have on our Lives.

And we want to avoid that kind of negativity.

Our Mental Health is the one aspect of our Lives which effects everything else, from our Emotions to our Physical Bodies.

So we "need" to keep our Minds as Positive and Strong as we possibly can.

Practicing Self-Care by Meditating on Positive Affirmations is such a Good way of Building up our Minds on a Daily basis.

Trying to Live a Healthy Lifestyle will Benefit "ALL" aspects of our Lives.

Going for a walk and getting some fresh air has Physical Benefits.

The fresh air will bring new oxygen into our Minds, and the movement of walking will pump the blood around our bodies.

Taking in the sights and the sounds will keep our Minds busy on Healthy 'things'.

This is also a very Good way of reducing stress and replacing it with Peace.

By doing this, you and I are showing that we "Believe" in Ourselves and Deserve "a Life free from anxiety".

It's In The Routine

 It's In The Routine 

"I choose peace over worry and calm over chaos"

A Peaceful and Calm Mind leads to a Healthy and Strong Body.

The question is:

Do you want a Positive and Happy Life?

Or

Do you want a negative and chaotic Life?

One will Benefit You!

The other will tear You down!

Very often, our choices in Life are affected by our past and what we Learnt from past experiences. 

Sometimes, we have to make 'bold' choices in order to change our Lives for the Better.

One way to 'choose' a Quiet Life is by Creating a routine that includes Meditation and Gratitude Journalling. 

And stay with this New Routine!

Like we try to eat and drink in a Healthy way, so we also need to do the same for our Mental Health. 

Reading, Repeating and Writing Positive Affirmations in our daily routine hows that we have Chosen Peace and Calmness to be in our Lives.

Being with 'like-minded' friends will Help to keep our Minds 'On Top'.

And then when chaos does come into our Lives, we will have the 'Skills' to Stay Calm and at Peace, especially within Ourselves.

"I CAN Do This!"

 “I CAN Do This!”

“Each day, I grow stronger and more resilient”

This is a very Strong and Positive Affirmation.

The more we say it to ourselves, the more we will Believe it of Ourselves!

The word “Resilient” means: “an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change”.

We have all had to do this through our Lives, we just don’t always realize how “Strong” we really are.

Those who are fighting depression and who are coming through it, are Happy to realize: “I never knew how Strong I am until today!”

A Positive Mindset will Build up this Resilience inside of us, both Mentally and Emotionally.

Take the time to reflect upon what YOU have Achieved, and what YOU have overcome, and this will Build YOU up Mentally.

And our Mental Health is one of the most “Important” aspects of our Lives.

Every time we are faced with a challenging ‘problem’, it is a Good idea to look at it as a Learning experience, even if all we Learn is to ‘avoid’ that problem again!

A Daily Routine of saying and writing down Positive Affirmations, (like this one), will make our Minds Strong and Resilient.

You've Got This!

 You’ve Got This

“Never quit. If you stumble, get back up. What happened yesterday no longer matters. Today is another day to move on and start over”

When we physically fall over, we get up and (quickly) move on.

We don’t just sit there, on the floor, and ‘quit’ walking.

Providing we haven’t ‘damaged’ ourselves, we (usually) feel ‘stupid’ because we were not looking where we were going, and we Physically carry on.

It is ‘rare’ that someone else would actually trip us up (on purpose).

Mentally, this ‘scenario’ is exactly the same.

When we ‘prepare and plan’ our day, we can (usually) stay “Balanced” Mentally, which will actually also Help us Physically.

Again, it is ‘rare’ for a person to deliberately ‘mess with our heads’.

Most people, whether friends or strangers, only want the Best for each other.

What happened in the past, we Learn from.

What happens in the Future, we can Plan for.

What happens Today, is our Choice.

Positive or negative?

However, if we do need Help Mentally — the Help and Support is there — Please Trust It.

It's In Our Nature

It's In Our Nature

"When you get tired, learn to rest, not quit"

Have a break.

Sit down.

Have a drink.

And spend some time looking after yourself for a change.

And then start again.

When we push and push and push ourselves, we are damaging not just our Physical bodies, but our Mental Health too.

And when we 'quit', the feeling of being a failure 'closes' our minds down and depression can creep in, which we must avoid as best we can.

Sometimes, when things are getting tough, it I often 'Life's' way of telling us to stop and rest, and whilst we are resting, the 'answer' will come to us.

We go to bed and sleep every night because it is human nature to do this, and it is Healthier to Rest our Bodies and Minds.

It is exactly the same when we are in the middle of a 'project'.

Don't Quit!

Rest!

And when we have 'completed' the project, no matter how long it takes, we will look back and be glad that we didn't quit but rested along the way.

The sense of Achievement is so Good for our Mental Health.

The Tulip And The Rose

 The Tulip and the Rose

"My life isn't perfect but I am thankful for what I have"

What is "Perfection"?

It Is many different things to many different people.

In my opinion, if you are Grateful for what you have in your Life and Happy, you are Living the Perfect Life.

Society tries to 'squeeze' us  into what 'It' calls a 'perfect' Life, which can put pressure and stress onto people, and it's not necessarily 'how' some Want to Live Their Lives.

When we make it a part of our daily routine to take a few minutes to think about what we do have, and to be Thankful for this, all of a sudden our Lives Look Perfect.

Finding Joy in what we have in our Lives, and who we have, and 'Seeing' the Beauty that is really there, Helps us to Embrace our Lives for what they really are.

The trap comes when we start to 'compare' ourselves with others and with their Lives.

A rose and a tulip grow in the same garden, but Both are Beautiful!

We Learn from 'imperfections' as we go through Life, but the most Important thing is to "Accept" Ourselves for who we really are.
