 See, Read and Encourage Every Day

“Every time you subtract negative from your life, you make room for more positive”

Doesn’t it feel good to, every now and then, have a ‘jolly good clear out’?

We pick up things that give us good or bad memories, and we ‘choose’ what to keep and what to throw out.

And when we’ve finished, there is always twice the room space left, leaving room for the next few months of memories.

This is a very Positive and Physical ‘job’.

Our Minds are no different!

Every now and then, it is a good idea to do the very same ‘clear out’ with our Minds and Thoughts.

Take time out to give yourself some “me-time” to just sit down and ‘clear your head’.

Think about — what you are thinking about.

Is it Positive?

Is it negative?

Are you Happy when you think?

Or do you feel sad when you think?

Getting rid of the negative means that you have room for the Positive.

Like we rearrange our room, so we need to ‘re-arrange’ our thinking and our thoughts.

And like we put that lovely picture up on the wall, the one that was hidden away in the box, so we can ‘post-it-note’ that very Strong Affirmation to See, Read and Encourage every day.

 Balance Is Needed In Both

“Your body becomes what you consume. Your mind becomes what you consume. Be careful with how you feed both”

We hear a lot about the connection of what we physically eat and how the food we ‘consume’ affects our physical bodies.

And aren’t we always trying ‘to eat the right things’?

It is interesting that there is a connection between food and the mind.

The types of food that we eat and how much we eat, does actually affect our minds and our thinking.

For example, we know that caffeine can keep us awake but too much of it puts us ‘on a high’.

Sugar is important for our bodies, but too much of it affects our weight, which can (in turn) affect how we ‘feel’ about ourselves, thus again, affecting our minds.

Balance is Essential in these two areas for us to keep a Healthy and Happy Life.

There is so much advice online about healthy diets, advice from doctors, for us to look up and ‘follow’.

But what about our ‘Mental Diet’?

Fortunately, society in general is becoming more aware of the effects — good and bad — of the ‘things’ we take into our minds, and again, there is a great deal we can find out about online.

The emphasis is on “us” to “look after ourselves”.

 Heal Yourself Emotionally

“Don’t forget you’re human. It’s okay to have a meltdown, just don’t unpack and live there. Cry it out and then refocus on where you are headed”

It is here that our Emotional Health comes to the fore.

We ARE human.

We do make mistakes.

And we do need to ‘let our feelings out’.

We live in a society which expects us to be “perfect” all of the time, and that it’s just not the ‘done thing’ to show our emotions.

Luckily, society is changing as we become more aware of our Mental Health. 

It is Important to allow ourselves to ‘get rid of’ the negative feelings and thoughts to make room for the Positive and Determined thoughts and feelings.

We need to Learn “how” to get rid of this ‘poison’ in a Controlled and Constructive way.

Basically, we want to let our feelings out in a “Safe” way.

One Controlled way is to sit down and write or draw it ‘all’ out, and if you start to cry at the same time, allow the tears to weep.

Give yourself permission to heal and to get better Mentally and Emotionally.

Show Compassion towards yourself this time.

Once you’ve done this and start to feel better, aim your thoughts towards Positive and Stronger thoughts.

Start to use your “Positive Support System” straight away.

And then be more Determined than ever to succeed.

Positive, Confident and Happy

 Positive, Confident and Happy

“The future depends on what you do today”

The choices that we make today will affect our futures.

The person we choose to marry and live with will affect theirs and our futures.

The way we handle our finances today will determine whether we will live in debt or debt-free.

Whether we plan our lives or not will show how much Control we have over our own Lives.

When we are at school, we are encouraged to choose subjects to study which will affect our futures.

This is a Good way of Learning how to Plan and of gaining Control of our Lives from a young age.

This could help us to avoid many of the problems that ‘youths’ face (and fall into) when they are not ‘looking ahead’.

The type of ‘friends’ we hangout with will affect our futures.

How?

Well, is he or she always negative which will make us think negative thoughts today and tomorrow?

Or is he or she Positive, Confident and Happy which will keep that Smile on our faces today and tomorrow?

There are a lot of things that can and will affect our future lives that we need to be constantly ‘building up our minds’ so that we will make the kind of choices that will have a Positive and Healthy affect on our Futures.

 I Want A Positive Lifestyle

“I changed my thinking. It changed my life”

To have a different life, we personally need “to so” something different.

Everything we do starts in the mind.

Maybe we need to change our way of thinking, especially if we want to Improve our Lives through study.

Wanting a new way of Life entails possibly changing our Lifestyle, our jobs, and even our friends.

But if we want a Positive Life, we will have to make these changes.Studying at college or University to get the qualifications needed for a job which will be fulfilling to us, as well as financially ‘secure’, requires a whole new set way of thinking.

And if we don’t want to repeat the mistakes of the past, we will need to ‘go down a different path’, both mentally and physically.

Thinking about the Benefits of a Better way if Living can only Encourage us to ‘move forward’ in a Positive and Determined way.

And remember to Trust in Yourself because you are Stronger than you realize.

A "Positive Support System"

 A “Positive Support System”


“You may have a negative past, but it doesn't mean it has to become your future. Leave it behind you by focusing on the positive right now”


We all have things that have happened in our past, that were not nice, and that we have (hopefully) learnt from. 


We should in no way allow this to ‘shape’ our lives now and in the future. 

Learn and leave the past in the past and stop ‘re-living’ the episode.

It is over now and, hopefully, we are living a much Better and Happier Life NOW.

By doing this, we can start to ‘plan’ our Future, making sure it will be a much Happier ‘time’ than the past was.

A Good, really Good way of helping ourselves do this is by being with Positive friends.

It is So Important to have a “Positive Support System” in place, so that when we do start to ‘slide backwards’ in our minds, we can straight away pick ourselves up.


We need to Learn to put Self-Care and Self-Love into our daily routine, and it could take ‘only’ fifteen minutes every day.

Time well spent and needed!

Something else to remember is to ‘forgive yourself’.

Understand why you made those past choices and Learn from them.

In this way, we can Take Control of our Lives in a Positive and Determined way.

 Support

“A calm mind is the ultimate weapon against any challenge in life”

A “Calm Mind” is a mind that is at Peace.

It is a Mind that is Free from agitation and disturbance.

A “Calm Mind” is in a ‘state’ of Serenity and Tranquillity.

Everyone on Earth needs a “Calm Mind”.

When we have this ‘kind’ of Mind, we do not become so emotional that we lose control of what we are doing, but we ‘Keep Control’ of the situation.

We are able to think clearly, understand and respond in the right way.

This is so Good for our Mental Health!

The Calmer our Minds are, the Stronger we will become in facing any ‘challenge’ that may come our way.

When a person is Calm, they are showing how Powerful they can be, because a Calm person has Complete Control of his or her Life and any ‘situation’ which may arise.

Just how do we acquire a Calm mind?

Practice, Practice, Practice.

Practice deep Breathing.

Practice Positive Affirmations.

Practice that Smile.

All of these things will Support our Minds, and when we Support our Mental Health, we also Support ourselves Emotionally and Physically.
