#   These horses are highly intelligent, and have a strong work ethic. They are bold and have spirited personalities and are suitable for experienced riders.

#   this breed was developed in England for racing and jumping.

#   Thoroughbreds are 16 hands high (64in / 163cm) and weight about 1,000 pounds (450kg) at maturity. 

#   This breed is usually bay, chestnut, brown, black and gray.

#   Thoroughbreds are a 'Specific' breed.

#   Grade Thoroughbreds may be used as hunters, polo ponies, stock horses or riding horses, depending on their training.

#   This breed can be expected to live 25-30 years. Some individual Arabians have been known to live well into their 40s.

#   Arabians have been recorded to run at a maximum speed of 40 miles per hour and are considered to be quite fast

#   Arabians belong to the hot-blooded category.
